UV disinfection lamps are a common disinfection tool, widely used in hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. Here are a few key points to note when using UV lamps:

1️⃣ Scope of application: UV disinfection lamps are primarily used for disinfecting indoor air and surfaces.

2️⃣ UV intensity requirements: Under conditions of 220V, 60% relative humidity, and 20°C, the UV lamp's radiation intensity should be no less than 70μW/cm².

3️⃣ Safety distance: When used indoors when no one is present, the UV light source should not directly illuminate people. Direct disinfection is typically performed using a suspended or mobile lamp.

4️⃣ Lamp height: The lamp should be suspended 1.8 to 2.2 meters above the ground.

5️⃣ Number of lamps: Depending on the size of the treatment room, a minimum of 1.5W UV lamp is required per square meter, with a minimum exposure time of 30 minutes. For example, for a 10-square-meter treatment room, the lamp power is 1.5W, and the irradiation time is 30 minutes.

6️⃣ Irradiation Time: Each disinfection session should last at least 30 minutes to ensure effective disinfection.

7️⃣ Cumulative Use Time: The cumulative operating time of each lamp should not exceed 1,000 hours. If exceeded, the lamp must be replaced. For example, if each disinfection session lasts 1 hour, the cumulative use time is 1 hour, which adds up to 30 hours per month.

8️⃣ Environmental Requirements: When disinfecting air directly with UV light, close doors and windows to maintain a clean and dry environment. The ideal temperature is 20-40°C, and the relative humidity is below 80%.

9️⃣ Cleaning and Maintenance: The UV lamp surface should be kept clean and wiped with an alcohol wipe once a week. Any dust, oil, or other stains on the lamp surface should be wiped clean immediately.

🔟 Disinfection Registration: After each disinfection session, enter the disinfection time, record the cumulative disinfection time, and sign. After wiping the surface of each department's UV lamp with 75% alcohol, tick the corresponding spot in the registration book and sign.

By following these steps, you can effectively ensure the effectiveness of your UV disinfection lamps and keep the environment and items clean and safe.
